Frequently Asked Questions

How does LetterLens protect my privacy?
All letter processing happens on your device. Before any cloud analysis, we automatically redact sensitive information on-device:

Our PII detection is GDPR-compliant across all four countries. We never store your letter images or personal data.

How do I cancel my subscription?
Open Settings app → tap your name → Subscriptions → select LetterLens → tap Cancel Subscription. Your subscription will remain active until the end of the current billing period.
How do I restore my purchase on a new device?

Which countries are supported?
LetterLens has expert knowledge of 60+ government agencies across four countries:
• Netherlands (29 agencies)
• Germany (25 agencies)
• France (17 agencies)
• Spain (13 agencies)

For each agency, we understand their typical letter types, objection deadlines, common bureaucratic terms, and standard procedures. This deep knowledge allows us to provide accurate analysis beyond simple translation.
Can I trust the translations and analysis?
We use advanced AI (GPT-4) to provide accurate translations and analysis. However, LetterLens is not a substitute for professional legal or financial advice. Always verify important information with official sources or qualified professionals.
What is Beta Tester Mode?
Beta Tester Mode gives you 10 free scans instead of 3. It's a one-time feature that can be enabled in Settings → Advanced. Once enabled, it cannot be disabled.
The app says my scans have run out. What should I do?
You have three options: (1) Upgrade to Premium for unlimited scans, (2) Enable Beta Tester Mode for 10 free scans (one-time only), or (3) Continue using the free Planner and PDF export features with your existing scanned letters.
I found a bug or have a feature request
We'd love to hear from you! Email us at support@letterlens.app with details about the bug or your feature idea. Premium subscribers receive priority support.
